And that you also have at least $250 dollars (and possibly $500) per year that you can choose to kickstart a Thrivent Action Project that can make a difference in our church or community. For example, this fall a member of Calvary used their $250 to purchase the backpacks and some of the supplies that were used to fill the School Backpacks for Lutheran World Relief. But whenever and wherever disaster strikes, you are there through the work of Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR), not only in the immediate aftermath but also long after the disaster has faded from the headlines. Your donations to the work of LDR are critical in allowing LDR to make a difference when disaster strikes.
