What is a Breath Prayer?  It's short, simple phrases (often a Bible verse) that can be prayed as we intentionally breathe in and out.  One of the wonderful things about breath prayers is that they can be prayed anywhere, anytime and can be effective whether prayed for just a minute or two or if time allows, even longer.

Two of my favorites, especially in this time:
"Be Still (breathe in) and know that I am God (breathe out)" from Psalm 46:10.
"Peace (breathe in), be still (breathe out)" from Jesus' words in Mark 4:39 as he calmed the storm.
